Alone in Yellowstone
A
few years after the big fire in Yellowstone National Park, I came
across this lone buffalo. It stood, motionless, conserving precious
energy after eating grass recently uncovered by the warmth of the
nearby hot springs.

Lake Loiuse
The
morning light of a late summer's day in Baniff National Park in Canada
captured my attention. The cold lake, glaciers, and mountains in contrast
to the warmth of the flowers and wagon give a wide range of feeling
to this photograph.

Golden Gate
A
nearly full moon is rising over San Francisco and the Golden Gate
bridge just after dark. Lights of the bridge and the moon cause an
interesting play of light and color in this scene.

Old Mill
Located
in southern Wisconsin this old mill sets in the afternoon sun as it
has long outlived its usefulness. During W.W.II this mill helped make
wooden boxes for shipping supplies overseas.

Just
outside of Munising MI, this waterfalls tumbles out of the woods on
an early summer morning.

The
recently build W.W.II Memorial stands as a tribute to greatest generation
who served our country. Located in Washington DC, it stands between
the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.
